Marathon Training Begins … Yikes!

My marathon training begins this week. Part of me feels thrilled and can’t wait to start. The other part remembers how challenging the last third of my half marathon felt …

I’ve got a training plan, determination and supportive family and friends. My plan this week includes 4 runs, 2 days of cross-training (strength training), stretching and a rest day. I’ll let you know how it goes. I’m also going to try to post more of my workouts to Instagram, so please feel free to follow me (EmilyWFYO) and keep me accountable for my training. If anyone has tips or recommendations as I embark on this journey, please share!
