It’s 2015 – #NoExcuses!

It’s a new year with amazing possibilities! I’m excited about my goals for 2015 (and promise to share more in an upcoming post) but for now I want to let you know about Sweat Pink’s #NoExcuses Challenge.

Each week you receive specific prompts to complete. For example, today’s prompt is 30 second planks (any variation). When you share your completion of the prompts, you have the opportunity to win awesome prizes! To kick off my participation, I filled out Sweat Pink’s mad lib for the challenge. Did you ever do those as a kid? So fun!! Check out FitApproach.com for more information on the challenge. Join me in making 2015 your fittest year yet. Let’s do this!!

#NoExcuses Mad Lib

Hey 2015, it’s me, Emily at Whatever Floats Your Oats.

This year I would like to run a full marathon, travel with my husband and do three pull ups.

It would also be super duper awesome if I also did more yoga this year. It’s not a resolution, though, just a reminder to myself to try and have the best year yet because I’m ready to get stronger!

The thing I am looking forward to most this year is feeling more confident in my own skin.

I’ll use the one thing that truly gets me out of bed in the morning which is my husband also getting up early to work out to help me get up, get going and get after my #NoExcuses 2015.

Speaking of excuses (ahem), my very favorite excuse is “I feel guilty spending time on myself” and I have used it to get out of doing workouts and self-care on more than three occasions.

I vow to move my body and be more healthy this year even if it means I have to remind myself that I can’t give to others unless I take care of myself first.

Even if my alarm clock gets eaten by the dog in the middle of the night, I’ll still get to the gym and run/strength train.

I will stop blaming the pantry gremlin for eating the rest of the Doritos when everyone knows it was really me.

My fears are not the reason I make excuses. I will show my fears who’s boss this year and get my run on.

I know that lifting weights is better than sitting on the couch.

I will reward myself by getting a cute dress in a smaller size.

No Excuses 2015 has just begun and already I am imagining myself a winner. I can’t wait to rock a cute top from Augusta Active. I can’t wait till my sweaty friends are jealous of how fresh, clean and lovely I am between workouts with help from ShowerPill body wipes. I can see myself rocking downward dog in a hoodie from Actio926 and looking fit and fly while doing it. And of course, I’ll be taking my workouts to the next level and improving my hips with my new ActivMotion Bar to help me train for my next half marathon race with Sasquatch Racing.

Oh, and let’s not forget how amazing my socks will smell during my training runs after washing with some WIN Detergent. And lastly, I’ll keep rocking my 2015 with clean eats and nutrition from Beaming with Health!

Who’s with me? What are your goals for 2015?
