Want More Flexibility in Your Races? Try A Virtual Race

Did your New Year’s Resolutions include training for a race or getting a faster running time?  I find that having a race on my calendar really helps motivate me to run on days that I may not feel like doing it.  Races are fantastic for many reasons but it can be difficult to find a race that fits your calendar and the distance you are willing to travel.  Sound familiar?  A virtual race may be just the answer!Virtual races generally occur within a window of time, giving you the opportunity to run the race on the day and at the time that best fits YOUR schedule.  You still receive cool race swag and motivation to train but with a lot more flexibility.  You also get to choose your course – you can map a route outside or run on a treadmill.

If you’d like to try a virtual run, I have a great opportunity to share with you!  Level Up Virtual Runs is offering a Star Wars themed virtual run from February 15 – February 29th!  Distance options include 5K, 10K, half marathon and full marathon.  I love the BB-8 race medal!!

Level Up Virtual Runs has graciously given me a discount code to share with you!  Please use Save15 to receive 15% off your race entry.  You can register to run “The Runner Awakens” here.  I’d LOVE to have you join me in this virtual race and look forward to hearing how it goes for you!
